i think that optus blocks port80, the default incoming http port.
try using a different port, and then for convenience, you can try re-directing a url to it so that you don't have to specify a port every time.
Tripod UK is different to even though they are the same company (lycos).edit:typo .f2FTP Access No Ads Bans signups from Hotmail, Yahoo! I do however have a paid "business" account and have about 8 domains with them.
They are rock solid as far as reliability goes, only their support is a tad slow (considering I cant phone them up as the number is a UK one.) as it has to be done by mail. I did not have to have a pin number phoned to me on application (but that was a while ago)I'll give them an 8/10 because nothing is a 10, and the support, from remote, could be faster.
Much easier, more secure, and you know what the hell is going on, not to mention you actually get to mold the server to your own needs.Havn't really used them, but they look good: unlimited space - up to 5 GB of transfer for your site per month - your own cgi-bin - PHP scripting - My SQL database supportand the other Fia N are really good, I use them for lots of things.
